Our Mission: Empowering Families to Become Self-Sufficient; Strengthening Children's Foundations for Learning

FCS serves more than 600 individuals annually. While FCS’s programs are available to families and individuals across San Francisco, services are targeted to those living in Bayview Hunter’s Point, Visitacion Valley, and the Western Addition. These three neighborhoods are home to more than 132,000 individuals, accounting for 16% of the City’s total population. Some are recent immigrants, many struggle with poverty, and nearly all face numerous obstacles to employment and childcare.
