Throughout the year Florence Crittenton Services has many events within its various programs.

Our 6th Annual Fall Luncheon proved a great success! On Friday, October 17 at the 1 Fort Mason Officers Club, we honored former San Francisco 49er Harris Barton and FCS board member Dawn Dobras for their efforts on behalf of San Francisco’s children and families.

Our 2nd Annual Spring Arts Fest was a great success! Held on April 14 at the Museum of the African Diaspora, the event included guided tours, a cocktail party, a jazz trio led by guitarist Lloyd Gregory, and a live art auction featuring works by nationally-renowned Bay Area artists.

In November 2007, FCS and Youth Yoga Dharma began a collaborative effort to bring meditation skills to job-training participants. As part of the Crittenton Jobs program, clients will learn how to manage day-to-day stresses and develop a growing sense of peacefulness and balance. Headquartered in Daly City, YYD provides meditation and yoga classes to disadvantaged Bay Area youth. For more information, visit www.youthyogadharma.org.
