Mim Carlson, Interim Executive Director
Mim Carlson, MBA, serves as an Interim Executive Director and consults in the area of organizational leadership with nonprofit organizations. She specializes in Board and Executive Director development, staff leadership transitions, strategic planning, and restructures. She is co-author of The Executive Director’s Survival Guide, and the author of two books, Winning Grants: Step by Step and Team-Based Fundraising: Step by Step all published by Wiley Inc.





Carol Larson, Director of Administration and Enrollment
For most of her 25+ years at FCS, Carol has been responsible for the properties owned and/or leased by the agency. She has worked with government and foundation grants to upgrade these buildings. She has recruited and supervised volunteers, both ongoing and project specific. She also supervises the IT department. In recent years, she has been the Director of Enrollment for the Infant Toddler Program, recruiting and enrolling children into the agency’s child care centers and network of family child care homes throughout the city.




Lucrecia Bermudez, Director of Finance and Operations
Lucrecia has more than 15 years of experience as a strategic thinker and creative problem solver in the areas of finance and administration. She has devoted her particular skills to establishing, managing and monitoring all financial and administration systems, practices and procedures, to many non-profit organizations throughout the Bay Area.





Seiko Velder, Crittenton Childcare Director
Seiko has 15 years of experience working in Early Childhood Education. She gained hands-on teaching experience as an Early Childhood Educator and has progressed to providing management for several ECE agencies. She earned her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Colorado Denver. She brings a wealth of ECE experience and knowledge to our childcare program.






Susan Murphy, Director of Crittenton Jobs Program
Susan has been a community activist (Bayview/Hunters Point) for over 25 years and has been teaching Job Training and Job Readiness skill in San Francisco for over 10 years.  Susan has worked extensively with the Visitacion Valley community, including residents of Britton Courts, Heritage Homes, and Sunnydale for over 3 years.





Atiim Bomani Chenzira Boykin, Director of Crittenton Family Support Program
Atiim started his career in social services in 1998. He has worked as a group home counselor, a teacher, a coordinator of special services to at-risk populations, and a mental health recovery specialist. He has an MA in counseling psychology from the University of San Francisco, and holds BAs in Pan African Studies from California State University, Northridge, and sociology from San Francisco State University . He brings his accumulated experience as a marriage and family therapist (MFT) and director of Family Support Services to Florence Crittenton Services.
